Baking Chocolate Best Buy

Chocolate for many people is a key baking ingredient.
In May 2020 (during the Covid-19 lockdown), I came across this online product offering which I felt I had to share with you all, and would 100% recommend if baking chocolate is one of your staple ingredients. See below for more details!
Chocolate Trading Company sell a variety of high quality chocolate products (namely chocolate chips) to "make, bake and decorate" with.
Specifically, they sale a 3 x 1kg bags bundle (dark (54%), milk and white) of chocolate chips ("callets") , as seen below.
This bundle currently sells for £31.93 on their website (link below), however this price does vary. It is also worth noting you can buy these as individual products.
Product Highlights:
1. The chocolate is already broken up (in chips / callets) , so ideal for melting (which is done most of the time when baking with chocolate), or for adding chips to ingredients e.g. choc chip muffins, cookies etc.
2. The chocolate is higher quality than supermarket products.
3. Relative to the price of some supermarket chocolate chips, it is a cheaper alternative. This is evident when comparing the price of Tesco's Dr. Oetker Jumbo Milk Chocolate Chips - £1.28 / 100g) and this product, Callebaut Milk Callets- £1.06 when part of this multi-pack). Tesco was used as an example ; there are other supermarket brands also available. Not a huge saving, but worth considering alongside the other benefits!
4. The bags have a handy resealable tab so you can rest assured that the chocolate will stay fresh in between use.
5. Chocolate Trading Company is highly rated on Trust Pilot (4.9/5 in over 13,000 reviews). I personally had a great ordering experience from them and will be ordering again! It is worth noting that there is delivery charges for orders of less than £200- £3.95 for standard, delivered by Royal Mail, but arrives well - packaged and promptly.
In summary, I think this product has a lot to offer, and I would recommend to anyone who uses a lot of chocolate, or chocolate frequently for baking or moulding.
